We are a friendly Church of England village primary school set in the beautiful countryside of Ide Hill. We are pleased to offer places to children from Reception to Year 6. At Ide Hill, we nurture all God's children. We are very proud of the unique combination of spirit, success and setting that makes Ide Hill CE Primary such a special place to learn, grow and achieve. Our school is both distinctively Christian and distinctively caring. Surrounded by teachers, volunteers and families, children develop in confidence, resilience and determination. They learn to question, set themselves challenges and see every mistake as an opportunity to learn.
"Do all things in Love" 1 Corinthians 16 :14,
At Ide Hill Church of England Primary, we seek the 'abundant life' that Jesus promised (John 10:10) - pupils and staff flourish. From the tiny Saplings in Reception to the mighty Oaks of Year 6, children are nurtured through the learning and experiencing of respect, responsibility and love - and the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13:13).
We have a history of high academic excellence at Ide Hill have strong links to other local schools within our Sevenoaks schools Partnership, including pre-schools and secondary schools. This level of involvement gives our children a strong start in Reception and helps them to move onto a wide variety of secondary schools, including Kent’s leading grammar and independent schools. Since 2015 we have celebrated an International Award from the British Council, Gold School Games Award, Bronze Rights Respecting Schools Award and a five star Certificate of Excellence. If you would like to visit the school, please contact the school office. We look forward to seeing you!
