Uniform

The school uniform at Ide Hill is to be worn by all pupils. It is an expectation that all pupils wear the correct uniform each day and that it is worn smartly. We ask that parents support us in this aim by checking your child's presentation before they arrive to school each morning.

 Winter uniform should be worn in September at the start of each new academic year unless notified by the school. Summer uniform may be worn after the Easter holiday.

Pupils are not permitted to wear the following to school:

• Jewellery, other than one pair of plain stud earrings which children must be able to remove for PE and be responsible for storing them safely.  
• False eyelashes
• Nail varnish
• Makeup
• Fake tan

Long hair must be tied back – this rule applies to both boys and girls. We ask that hair accessories be simple and plain in design. Please avoid decorative items such as novelty accessories.
