Air Resistance

This week Ash class have been learning about air resistance as an opposing force to gravity. They conducted an experiment to examine different factors which may impact how quickly a parachute falls. Firstly, they decided which variable to change on their parachute, ensuring it would be a fair test by keeping all other variables the same.

Once they had made their parachute, and written their hypothesis, they dropped them from a set height and recorded their results. Finally, they wrote up their methodology, results, analysis and conclusion.
