Yesterday saw another performance of our annual Talent Show. The children who performed did fantastically and showed us just how many different talents there are in Ide Hill School. There were singers, dancers, pianists, comedians and gymnasts. The choir also performed beautifully. The children dedicated their time to practising and refining their performance and the results on the day were great. I would like to thank them for being a great example of our school values of love (through their love and enthusiasm of whatever talent they had), respect (respecting the time it would take to get things right) and responsibility (showing up on the day and being brave and confident enough to take part).
Thank you to Mrs Pearce for helping me during the performance as both official photographer and stage hand.
I would like to thank all the parents and children who helped me put the chairs out and back, in particular Seth, Aria, Grace D and Mr and Mrs Cottington. I would also like to thank Mrs Lawrence, Mrs Farley, Mr and Mrs Adams and Mr Thomas for helping me put all the furniture back on to the stage and helping take things back to school. Apologies if I have forgotten anyone but I appreciated all the help given to me.
