World Book Day 2024

What a wonderful week! The children and staff celebrated a fantastic World Book Day and they loved sharing stories and writing riddles. We are so pleased that so many children joined in with events by coming to school dressed in their pyjamas, bringing their favourite bedtime story to share, completing the reading challenge or sending us some wonderful photos of children reading in strange places!

The staff team surprised the children with a couple of events too! On Thursday morning, Mrs Daniels organised a story raid, with different staff members of staff dropping in to read stories and poetry to the children. There was such a lovely feeling in the school. The staff even took part in a masked reader event for the children - The children had a fantastic time guessing who was "behind the mask!"
