Thank you for sending your photographs into school to show children with their mothers, grandmothers, step mothers, aunties and foster mothers. The images are beautiful as individual pictures but together they create a very powerful picture. I started putting the images up at school on International Women’s day and was struck by how lucky our children are to be surrounded by such strong, loving women. Thank you all for your support. We have loved seeing these pictures and they have provided a little bit of comfort to the children during their first week back.
These images will be shared at St Mary's church on our "Mothering Sunday Tree" so please do find the time to visit the church and see the images. Please stay safe, wear masks and ensure that social distancing remains in place whilst at St Mary's.
