The sun came out for Saplings this week on our trip to Riverhill Himalayan Gardens! It meant we could enjoy the gardens at their best, particularly the beautiful bluebells!
We had a packed day - making our own hobby horses using bamboo sticks cut from the bamboo growing in the garden and the horses let us use their straw to fill the socks to make the horse heads. We then trekked up the hill to the maze, den building and adventure playground before enjoying lunch on the picnic blankets overlooking the Kent countryside. Even the cows came over to say hello!
