Beech Trip to London

Last week Beech class had the opportunity to visit London as part of their learning about Monarchs. It was a super visit, which combined travelling by train, visiting the National Portrait Gallery and a visit to Buckingham Palace. Beech class had a fantastic time at the Portrait gallery. The children explained “We did a scavenger hunt, looking for portraits of Kings and Queens, like Henry VIII and his wives.” The children then went to Buckingham Palace to learn more about where the King lives and the most amazing thing happened… they saw the King, who then stopped to wave at the children! What a wonderful adventure.
