Year 1 Trip to the Golden Hinde

As part of our history project about explorers, yesterday, Elms class went on our very own explorer's expedition to London! We started our day at the Golden Hinde in London Bridge where we found out all about life on board a ship 500 years ago. We then travelled by foot to the River Thames where we boarded the Thames Clipper. We then travelled by Clipper to Greenwich where we saw the impressive Cutty Sark. The children had an incredible day and saw some amazing sights. They were impeccably behaved and demonstrated excellent listening and safety during the day and certainly did Ide Hill School proud!
